PARTICIPANT INSTRUCTIONS: Please respond to all questions even if you are not sexually active or have never used (or had a partner who used) condoms. In such cases indicate how you think you would feel in such a situation.

Reliability and Effectiveness
Alpha values for men and women were ranging from .74 to .94.
The construct validity for each factor in the scale was established. "The MCAS was correlated with relevant criterion variables-such as sexual experience, intentions to use condoms, and past as well as future condom use."
