Survey Items

  1. How many doses of your HIV medication did you miss in the last 7 days?
  2. Put a mark on the line below at the point that shows your best guess about how much of your prescribed HIV medication you have taken in the last month.
  3. During the last two weeks, did you forget to take your HIV medications?
  4. When you feel better, do you sometimes stop taking your HIV medication?
  5. Sometimes if you feel worse, do you stop taking your HIV medication?
  6. Did you forget to take any of your HIV medication over the past weekend?

Internal Reliability

Cronbach’s α = 0.61 for six items, all except one had corrected item-total correlations above 0.4.

Validity

Criterion-related validity was assessed via comparison with viral load and CD4 count.
